Overview

 

1)            Modem:  For Dial-up connections, Modify Image Quality and Image Precision.

 

2)            Broadcast Status:  To start the web server, click WebStart.  To stop, click WebEnd.

 

 

You may be prompted for Windows Firewall security alert, click Unblock to allow connection.

 

3)             Make Client Install Diskettes:  Insert floppy into A: drive and click Copy to load MultiClient software to diskette.

 

4)             Lan:  For Ethernet connections.  Modify Image Quality and Image Precision.

 

5)             To enable DHCP, check box and click Apply.  It will require the system to reboot.

 

6)             To manually enter network information, uncheck DHCP and type in information then click Apply.

 

 

How to broadcast over the Internet (WebClient and MultiClient)

 

1)             Check that the Internet is connected and running.

 

2)             If system is connected to a router, port forward 9123, 80 and 8080.  Refer to the router manufacturer¡¯s manual for directions on port forwarding.

 

3)             Go to Control Panel, Windows Firewall, and Exceptions.  Check LDWebserver, click OK.  (Note:  To exit DVR System without turning off computer, press Shift while clicking Power button)

 

4)             Turn on web server by clicking WebStart in Network Setup.  Click Unblock if prompted.

 

5)             Uncheck Enable DHCP and enter Static IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Default DNS Server, and Sub DNS Server.  Consult your Internet provider for details.

 

6)             Click Apply.  Click OK to restart computer.
